Marsden State High School is one of the largest secondary schools in Queensland.
Students can apply for enrolment at Marsden State High School (MSHS) under the following categories:
Local catchment area: student’s principal residence is within the defined local catchment area
Discipline of Academic Excellence (selective entry): selection is based on an order of merit
Discipline of Performing Arts – Dance and or Music Excellence (selective entry): selection is based on a audition or a folio of works that demonstrates their artistic ability.
Discipline of Sporting Excellence – Rugby League, Girls Rugby League & Touch Football, Basketball and Football (selective entry): selection is based on a performance trial and on the students sporting achievements.
Under the selective entry disciplines students must provide most recent school report that reflects continued excellence in academic, behaviour and effort reports.
If applying for Academic Excellence students must provide Naplan report with enrolment paperwork.
