Matt Hartigan


FullSizeRenderAn outstanding young coach and program administrator, Matt Hartigan joins the Marsden State High School (MSHS) Rugby League Coaching Staff in 2017.

He will coach the Year 9 and 10 Broncos Cup teams this year and hopes to build on the success of previous years in this year’s Broncos Cup competition.

Matt is a Level 2 accredited Coach, has a Certificate 4 in Sports Coaching, a level 1 in Sports Medicine, has worked in the Sydney Roosters and Penrith Panthers junior development programs and much more.  He also coached the NSW RL Schoolboys to State Championship victories in 2014, 2013, 2011 and 2010.

In addition to coordinating our school’s Rugby League Excellence Program in 2017, outside of coaching, Matt has represented Australia in OzTag in 2015 and 2017.  See:

Apart from the ‘greatest game of all’, his passions include health, fitness and education.

Matt is a tremendous asset for our Program.
