In a closely contested Round 3 match, the Marsden Makos Year 9 team showed a great level of resolve to fight back from a 12-6 deficit to record a draw versus Alex Hills SHS in front of a packed home ground crowd at Noffke Park.
It would be a strong carry from front row forward Stovie Tagaloa that would lock the scores up with only two minutes remaining!
Earlier in the match, Year 8 talent Jeremiah Muld snatched a great intercept to put Marsden on the scoresheet.
Our Year 9 team will take a lot from this game, particularly around preparation. As a group today we learnt the importance of fuelling the body with the right foods and maintaining high levels of hydration.
Although we lacked energy at different times, I am proud that we fought hard to the final whistle and were able to lock it up by full time.
Back to the training paddock we go!
