The #MTC Wellbeing journal was created to start the conversation around good mental health practice with the Coaches and players.
There is a weekly focus and students are exposed to good mental health strategies/self-talk strategies and ways to improve their own mental health.
- Weekly Focus – requires 5-10 minute discussion – plus their own reflection.
- Check in with their progress weekly – mental wellbeing focus.
- Teach strategies and self reflection.
- They will have their own self reflection/weekly check in to do – which is building their emotional awareness, resilience, mindfulness, gratefulness and positive mindset.
