The Brisbane Broncos Day Camp occurs in Term 4 each year.
On this day, selected Marsden State High School (M.S.H.S.) Rugby League students, including scholarship holders, enjoy an exciting tour of the NRL Club’s training facility at Red Hill, as well as the famous home ground, Suncorp Stadium, and much, much more!
The ‘once in a lifetime’ tour of Broncos Headquarters will take young Makos inside the Club’s gymnasium and recreation centre, giving our students an insight into how a professional player prepares for being successful in rugby league.
They will meet Brisbane Broncos players, coaches and support staff and have the opportunity to receive essential tips on diet and sports nutrition, training, attitude, preparation and more.
After a delicious lunch in the Broncos Leagues Club, our young Makos will also visit the Broncos Merchandise Shop and Broncos Hall of Fame where they’ll be able to read all about the Club’s rich history, see all the old jerseys and pictures of players, trophies and much more!
The visit to Suncorp Stadium (Lang Park) (Nicknamed ‘the Cauldron’) in Milton will take our students inside one of Australia’s premier sporting facilities. There they will see firsthand where their heroes prepare for their games in the National Rugby League — the change rooms — and be granted special permission to access the field itself for a ‘kick around’.
