The Rugby League Excellence program capped off preparations for term 2 with a range of team building days. Over 300 students were engaged in a range of activities that were created to solidify the Marsden culture, encourage positive communication and build on connections that have been forged across the term. Tonight we have a look at the experiences gained at Toowoomba!

Yesterday saw our Rugby League Excellence Interschool squads travel to Toowoomba to take part in a team building day which culminated in matches against St Marys College. The students participated in four stations which included reaction drills, show and tell, a dance off and backyard cricket. The team culture was fantastic with Mr Hamilton’s Year 8s leading the way and easily winning the dance off. The results against St Marys didn’t go our way but the boys fought tooth and nail narrowly going down against the Broncos Cup outfit. Overall the day was a positive preparation for the upcoming season. We would like to thank St Marys for providing referees and first aid and look forward to facing them next term in the Broncos Cup.

Up The Makos!
