Bendigo Bank

Your Community Bank-Rye Dromana Rosebud-2

At Bendigo Bank we believe successful customers and successful communities create a successful bank – in that order.

As we work to provide banking products and services for our customers, we consider the bigger picture.

We think about what we can do beyond banking to help our customers and strengthen the communities they live in.

Bendigo-Bank-logoWe’ve created a number of unique partnerships and services which enable us to do this.

First and foremost, we’re a good bank. But it’s the time and effort we spend innovating in the community that makes us unique and sets us apart.

It’s why so many people choose to bank with us.

Logan Community Bank®

The Logan Community Bank® project began in February of 2001 when yet another major bank closure in the Logan district sparked outrage amongst local residents.

A steering committee was then formed from local business people and supporters‚ and the community support poured in from all areas of the district.

In June of 2002 a Board of Directors was appointed from the original steering committee to manage the establishment and growth of the community company.

Out of this came the formation of Australia’s first ‘Super’ Community Bank® project which was announced in September of 2002.

The company took over management of the sites at Loganholme and Browns Plains in June 2003.

Springwood branch was then opened on 8th July 2003 and Marsden followed close on its heels on 12th September 2003. Then in 2009 via expansion Logan Community Bank® opened its 5th branch at Beenleigh.

Marsden Branch & Marsden State High School

The Marsden branch of Bendigo Bank commenced its partnership with Marsden State High School in 2015 pledging support to the school’s Sports Excellence Program.

This partnership continues to develop via sponsorship of the program throughout 2016.

Bendigo Bank and Logan Community Bank® are proud to partner with Marsden State High School in providing a great sporting and learning environment for the future of Logan.

Visit any of our 5 branches if you would like to find out more about how we support our communities and how you can be a part of helping us continue to grow our support in Logan.
